TallyCal is just over a year old and there has already been thousands of polls created with tens of thousands of participants. Over the last few months, many users have requested more advanced features for their organizations. Therefore, it was time to build and launch a plan that could support these new features. Below are the first of the new features unlocked for Pro users.
Lock Poll Timezone
In some situations it makes sense to lock the timezone so that participants can only view the timeslots based on the timezone that the host selected for the poll. When this feature is enabled, participants can view which timezone is selected but cannot change it.
Custom URLs
Hosts can now customize the link for each poll. By default, polls are created with a random string of characters as their ID in the URL. However, a host can change the characters to be named how they want. The best time to customize a poll's URL is before sending it out to participants. Once the link is changed, the old link will no longer work.
Require Participant Emails
By default, participants can choose if they want to submit their email when they select their timeslots. There are now three options for Pro users. You can keep it optional, require it, or don't ask for it at all.
Hide Results or Participant Details
Some organizations prefer to keep the poll results private. You can now choose from four options. Show all, show results only, show participants only, hide all. Anything that you choose to hide will not be visible on the poll page, but the host will be able to see on the admin page.
Custom 'If Need Be' labels
Traditional polls give participants three choices when selecting their availability for each timeslot. These include, Yes, No, and If Need Be. Now hosts can customize the 'If Need Be' choice. Hosts can show it, hide it, or change it to say something else.
The new features have been launched at a great price. Head over to your account page to upgrade. Pro subscriptions will allow TallyCal to grow to become the best, most simplistic group scheduling tool. Over the next few months, TallyCal will continue to receive new features on both the free and paid plans. If you have any feedback or requests, please submit them through the support page.
